Founder Sumit Chopra spent over 15 years manufacturing scrubs and aprons for the healthcare industry. But it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that everything changed — watching doctors and nurses go without real protection during those years made one thing clear: workwear needed to do more than just look the part. That realization became the starting point for Dresshala — antimicrobial protection built into every scrub and coat we make, not just an afterthought.
Our garments are engineered with lab-tested antimicrobial fabric, independently verified by Biotech Testing Services LLP (Mumbai) under AATCC 100:2019 — with a 99.76% reduction against Staphylococcus aureus and 99.49% against Klebsiella pneumoniae.
We use a 65% Polyester / 35% Viscose blend, chosen for breathability, durability, and all-day comfort across long hospital shifts.
